It’s historically been a bit of a rough area in the uptown, but Prince Edward Street will soon be more bustling with the Social Enterprise Hub slated to be built adjacent to the current site of the Community Loan Fund.
The Loan Fund’s Seth Asimakos explained to common council that it was always their plan to bring in all descriptions of entrepreneurs and social enterprises under one roof.
The lots beside the Community Loan Fund have been empty for a number of years, and so was most of the building in which they’re currently located until they bought and rennovated it a few years back.
