Some ups, some downs for N.B. gas prices

We’re back on that roller coaster ride for gas prices.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments early Friday morning.

The maximum for regular self-serve gas is up 1.6 cents to around $1.87.

This comes just one day after a dip of over nine cents a litre.

Diesel and furnace oil prices went the other way. They are down 2.3 cents a litre.

Diesel now sits at a maximum of $2.23, while furnace oil is at $2.16.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board makes its regular weekly adjustment to prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.78 to $1.83 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $2.06 and $2.10 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is about $1.85 per litre, diesel costs $2.19 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of about $1.60 per litre.
