Special Weather Statement Issued For Potential Heavy Snow

Southern New Brunswick is under a special weather statement by Environment Canada for the potential of heavy snowfall tomorrow and tomorrow night.

The national weather agency says snowfall ahead of an approaching low pressure system will begin tomorrow morning over southern New Brunswick.

Forecasters are calling for as much as 15 centimetres of snow by Thursday morning, and say the snow could switch to rain or freezing rain early Thursday along the Bay of Fundy.

Residents are encouraged to monitor Environment Canada forecasts for updates.
