A single vehicle crash west of Fredericton in Scotch Lake on Wednesday evening has claimed the life of a 63-year-old man from Springfield.
The driver and only person in the vehicle died at the scene from his injuries. It’s thought the crash happened when the car left the road and hit a pole.
RCMP say what caused the collision is still under investigation but slippery roads might have been a contributing factor. An RCMP collision resconstructionist is helping with the investigation.
