Spruce Up Saint John

Marigolds and Murals planted over 4,000 spruce trees over the past decades.

This is a large tree planting my students did along Hilyard Street.

Thomas Hilyard was a shipbuilder and his shipyard was in this area of Long Wharf. The Hilyard Home is on Douglas Avenue.

We planted many spruce trees all over the city for many years. This gives our city colour in the winter and a home for our winter birds plus cleans our air. Please plant more trees in our urban forest. It makes our city more attractive and liveable .

These particular trees , at this site ,are now 25 years old and run along Hilyard Street, on the railroad track side. We can make Saint John Better!❤️😊🌼🌲
