A ceremony to say thank you to volunteer firefighters and ground search and rescue members who took part in a search for a missing woman is being hosted by the St. George detachment of the RCMP.
The 69-year-old Maces Bay woman was found alive in the St. George area after a two day search. She had gone missing on the walking trails.
The Mounties are hosting a Certificate of Appreciation Ceremony next Tuesday at 7pm at the Magaguadavic Centre in St. George. It is open to the public.
