Parker McCollum has a new song out this week at Country 94 called “What Kinda Man“. As always, Krista likes to find out what the story is behind the song.
In this new song, the artists looks at what his terms his wild streak – late nights and questionable decisions. But then – as fate would have it – in walks the one, a game-changer. Something about this gal makes the singer want to turn over a new leaf, clean up his act and be the kinda man this lady deserves. This is serious – not only is he ready to give up the negatives, he is ready to settle down and even go to church!
Parker is very open (in real life) about how his wife, Hallie Ray Light, was the catalyst for his own transformation. Parker shares “I was never going to get married… when I met Hallie Ray, that all changed… forget the man I am, what kind of man do you need? I’ll do anything.”
