Strange Arrest Made On East Side And Fire In Rothesay

One man finds himself in the lockup facing charges after some very strange behaviour on the east side.

City Police tell CHSJ News he left Chuckles Lounge on Rothesay Avenue, jumped on the roof of a parked vehicle and damaged the windshield.

He took off but returned later and is also accused of assaulting the bartender.

Meantime, A fire in Rothesay causing moderate damage to a home on Cameron Road.

The fire started in a barbeque, spread to the back deck and then made its way into the kitchen before being extinguished by Kennebecasis firefighters.
