What do we need? And what can we live without?
That’s the idea behind the Strategic Program Review with Health Minister Victor Boudreau in trying to find ways to reduce the province’s deficit.
Local MLA John Ames says the province need your feedback. He says with this program review, we certainly encourage and invite anyone to attend it and provide and suggestions to get our fiscal house in order. “If there are any services they believe are redundant, or any services they believe that they could do without, or any suggestions that could help the province out.”
Ames says everone should attend if they have concerns about the closure of the Charlotte County Hospital, or any other concerns over services that may be cut.
The public dialogue session scheduled for tonight at NBCC in St. Andrews has been postponed until further notice.
