Strike action causing transit delays: city

It may take you longer to get to your destination on Wednesday on Saint John Transit.

The city says buses are experiencing delays due to strike action by inside workers.

Officials say striking workers have a picket line across the driveway of the transit building.

It is the latest city service to be impacted by the strike, which is now in its ninth day.

Curbside garbage, compost and recycling collection have been experiencing delays.

As a result, curbside compost and recycling collection has been suspended until further notice.
