The idea behind a reality TV show where teams of two race around in the world is being used by the New Brunswick Community College to showcase the province to 30 international students.
Mary Butler of NBCC says many of those students are rarely able to travel outside of the community they’re studying in and thoroughly explore New Brunswick. She says when this idea first came about, it was about breaking down boundaries so they could get a greater sense of what the province and the country is all about.
The event is largely being funded through the provincial government’s Depatment of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour.
