Sum 41 pulls out of Jubilee and Area 506 music festivals

Canadian punk-rock band Sum 41 has cancelled its upcoming concert dates including their headliner appearances at the Jubilee Music Festival and the Area 506 Music Festival.

Social media accounts from both festivals confirmed the cancellation Tuesday, citing an injury to one of the band members back as the reason.

 

 

Sum 41 was scheduled to headline the Jubilee Music Festival in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on August 3, and for the Area 506 Music Festival in Saint John, New Brunswick on August 4.

Area 506 has already confirmed that The Beaches who were named Group of the Year at Juno Awards hosted in Halifax this year.

No replacement act has been announced for the Jubilee Music Festival.
