Hello everyone! It has come time for me to say goodbye to the Summer Cruiser!! I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that made this summer so much fun It was so nice to see smiling faces all summer long! It’s been such an awesome summer so here a recap of my last weekend out!
Thursday and Friday, I was down in Dieppe for YQM Country Fest, and I had such a blast! From watching incredible performances by Zach Top, Eric Church, Zach John King, and Chad Brownlee, just to name a few, there was never a dull moment. Even when the weather changed on Friday with the rain and thunder rolling in, it didn’t stop anyone from having a great time! The festival atmosphere was unforgettable, and I had an awesome couple of days enjoying everything YQM Country Fest had to offer.
My first stop on Saturday was down at Emerson Pools & Spas for their Customer Appreciation Day! There was so much going on, from great deals and savings on appliances, chemicals, and accessories to a delicious BBQ hosted by the Lions Club. I was also there handing out swag and prizes, which made the day even more exciting! It was awesome to see so many people stop by and take advantage of all the great offers. I’d definitely say it was a very successful Customer Appreciation Day!
My next stop was another festival, but this time I headed down to Area 506 for Area 506 as Folk! It was a beautiful day on the waterfront, and I got the chance to check out both the afternoon and evening shows. There were some great performances throughout the day! I spent my time up on the deck enjoying the music, taking in the view of the harbor, and handing out some prizes! It was a fantastic event and a great way to spend the day down at the waterfront!
My first stop on Sunday was at TD Station for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Book Sale, the largest book sale in all of New Brunswick! There were so many of books to choose from, with prices ranging from just $1 to $4, or you could grab a box for $10 and fill it right to the top. No matter what you’re into, there was something for everyone, from bestselling novels and children’s books to cookbooks and so much more. It was great to see so many people browsing through the rows of books and picking up some amazing deals. It was definitely a book lover’s dream down at TD sation!
My last stop of the weekend was Air Show Atlantic, and it was such an awesome way to wrap up my weekend! Along with all the flight demonstrations, there were plenty of activities to check out. One of the coolest parts was getting the chance to sit inside the planes I even got to try it out myself! The planes were incredible to watch as they soared through the sky, pulling off amazing tricks and maneuvers. Between the amazing aircraft, great atmosphere, and all the fun activities, Air Show Atlantic was the perfect way to end a fantastic weekend!
What a fun weekend to end my summer on! I’ve had an incredible time out in the Summer Cruiser, meeting so many people, visiting amazing events, and exploring communities all across the region. From festivals and concerts to community celebrations, markets, and everything in between, every weekend brought a new adventure and plenty of memories! It’s been such an awesome few months, and I’m so grateful for all the memories I’ve made along the way. Thanks for following along all summer long!
