Summer Officially Arrives In NB

Summer officially arrived in New Brunswick at 1:24 this morning.

This will be the longest day of the year at 15 hours and 46 minutes in Moncton and 15 hours and 39 minutes in Saint John.

Unfortunately the days will slowly start getting shorter after today.

Environment Canada says Southern New Brunswick has a 50 percent chance of having above normal temperatures this summer.

Precipitation is expected to be near normal in most of the province.
