Two Saint John Sea Dogs were selected in the 2016 NHL Draft yesterday. Defenceman Luke Green was drafted 79th overall by the Winnipeg Jets and forward Nathan Noel was selected 113th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Chicago White Sox 10-8 the New York Yankees edged the Minnesota Twins 2-1 and the Texas Rangers hammered the Boston Red Sox 10-3.
