Superstore To Offer Online Grocery Shopping In Saint John Area In 2018

It’s not here yet but it is coming early in the new year: online grocery shopping at Saint John area Superstore locations.

The program was launched earlier this month at outlets in Moncton, Riverview, Fredericton and Oromocto and spokesperson Adam Jardine says you can order the food you want, and pay online and then go pick it up.

“When you pay online you actually have to put in a credit card so you can say I’m just going to pay with my card on file and there’s actually no transaction done,” says Jardine.

“Now if you do prefer to shop with your debit card or another form of payment, then we can bring out a remote PIN pad so you can do it right there from the car, but if you want to bring in cash then we have to bring you into the store.

Jardine says it takes about 10 minutes to go through the list online as opposed to the average one and a half hours in the store to fill up your cart.
