Supporting the Centre for Youth Care: Building Brighter Futures in Saint John

The Centre for Youth Care (CYC) is one of Saint John’s most impactful organizations, quietly transforming lives and strengthening our community. Operating thirteen programs across eleven buildings, CYC provides essential support to over 140 youth in our region—offering housing, food security, education, and most importantly, kindness and purpose.

CYC has stepped in where foster homes once stood, creating safe, supportive environments for young people who need stability and care. Their work goes far beyond shelter—it is about building relationships, offering guidance, and helping youth discover their potential. Every day, the team at CYC shows what commitment and compassion can achieve.

Now, they are expanding. A new facility is under construction on Thornbrough Avenue, and donations are still needed to help bring this vital project to life. This new space will allow CYC to reach even more youth, offering them the resources and support they need to thrive.

Saint John faces many challenges, especially when it comes to youth poverty, education, and opportunity. Organizations like CYC are essential in addressing these issues head-on. They do not just provide services—they offer hope, direction, and a sense of belonging.

If you are looking for a way to make a meaningful impact in our city, consider supporting the Centre for Youth Care. Whether through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, your support helps build a stronger, more caring Saint John.

Let us stand behind the incredible work being done at CYC. Together, we can help ensure every young person in our city has the chance to grow, succeed, and feel loved.

Love ❤️ Saint John, NB.
