‘Suspicious Items’ Shut Down Quispamsis Trail: Police

Police say “suspicious items” shut down part of the trail system in Quispamsis over the weekend.

Kennebecasis Regional Police Force officers were called to the trail off Queensbury Drive on Saturday evening.

“After a thorough investigation, it was determined that there was no threat to public safety,” the force said in a social media post on Monday.

The trails were cleared and are now safe to use again, said police.
