The shocking impact of domestic homicide will be acknowledged in a new fundraiser remembering victims from the Saint John area.
The Tanya Shand Milk & Cookie Fun Run will with each kilometre also remember Melanie Davis, Cathy Bawn, Alice Leadlay and Cindy Irving.
Constable Kelley McIntyre of the KV Regional Police Force reads part of a statement from Tanya Shand’s sister Julie on the impact her loss has for Tanya’s daughter.
In the statement, Julie says Tanya’s daughter won’t have her mother there for her graduation, her first dance or her wedding.
The 1st Annual Tanya Shand Milk and Cookie Fun Run takes place this Saturday at the Q plex.
