The Safe Harbour Youth Homeless shelter has received its largest corporate donation in its history.
TD Canada Trust is donating $37,500 to the shelter over five years.
Chief Executive Officer of Partners for Youth John Sharpe says the money will help cover the costs of overall daily operations.
Sharp says that includes staffing costs, meals and the cost to run the home itself.
He calls the donation an investment in young people who visit the shelter and lead themselves to better lives.
Safe Harbour will re-open on March 1st.
