An 18 year old charged with manslaughter in the stabbing death of his uncle has been released on conditions.
Justin Christopher Bennett of Saint John has elected to tried by judge and jury. He was ordered to remain under house arrest, keep the peace, and abstain from alcohol and non-prescribed drugs. He’s charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of 32 year old Scott Bennett, who was killed at a home on Norris Road last Wednesday.
Two adults and one teen were arrested. A date for Bennett’s preliminary hearing will be set next month.
