Teen Dies In Fredericton Crash

Fredericton police say a 17-year-old boy has died following a two-vehicle crash on the city’s north side.

Police said a motorcycle and an SUV collided on McLeod Hill Road at around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital where he died a short time later, said police.

Investigators said the 62-year-old man driving the SUV was not physically hurt.

The Major Crime Team is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash.
