KV police tweeting that Rothesay town councillor Miriam Wells was approached by two teens who admitted to mailing a dead fish to her last week.
Police have spoken to the teens and they admitted it was a prank with no harm intended.
No charges will be filed and the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force have concluded their investigation.
The teens have apologized to Councillor Wells and to the police and understand what they did was wrong.
