Temperature records set in several N.B. communities

It has felt more like spring rather than the first few days of winter in New Brunswick.

Several communities set temperature records on Monday, some nearly a century old.

Bas-Caraquet reached a high of 6.3°C, breaking the old record of 4.2°C set in 2003.

The high of 3.5°C in Charlo broke the old record of 3.2°C set in 1990.

Doaktown recorded a high of 9.5°C. The last record of 7°C was set in 2003.

Edmundston shattered a nearly century-old record with a high of 9.1°C. The old record of 4.4°C was set in 1927.

Grand Manan reached a high of 9.5°C, breaking the old record of 9.1°C set in 2022.

The high of 8.1°C in Kouchibouguac broke the old record of 7°C set in 2003.

Miscou Island recorded a high of 4.3°C. The last record of 3.4°C was set in 2016.

It reached 9.9°C in Point Lepreau, breaking the old record of 9.4°C set in 1928.

Woodstock recorded a high of 10.3°C. The old record of 7.2°C was set in 1927.
