Some big names in country music are heading to Saint John this summer.
Organizers have unveiled the lineup for this year’s Boxcar Country Festival.
Tenille Townes and Tim Hicks will headline the two-day festival on July 26 and 27 at the Waterfront Container Village.
Joining them are Jojo Mason, Robyn Ottolini, Big Sugar, Anna Graves, Baker Beaton Band, Moyenne Rig, Sean Michael Ryan, Pretty Western, and Colin Fowlie & The Humble Few.
Also taking the stage are The Martin Boys from Woodstock, who have received a lot of buzz after their Canada’s Got Talent audition.
This year’s festival will see some fan favourites return, like the mechanical bull, line dancing and lasso workshops, as well as BBQ pitmasters, and a focus on Canadian Whisky.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
