“That’s Enough”: Vitalite Fed Up With Critics

Vitalité Health Networks is tired of the incessant criticism directed towards New Brunswick’s lone Francophone health authority.

A statement released by the Vitalité Executive Committee of the Board of Directors denounces what they believe are attacks on the administration, and particularly President and CEO, Dr. France Desrosiers.

“People are making the debate personal and multiplying their attacks on the President and CEO of the Network, a Francophone woman at the helm of a Francophone health authority,” said Michelyne Paulin, the Board Chairperson who states the acts are “fanning the flames of destructive debate and considerably undermining the efforts and collaborative work underway.”

Vitalité went on call out the acts of Égalité santé en français, an organization that enforces and implements the rights of New Brunswick’s Francophone and Acadian language community to manage and govern its health institutions.

“The controversies fed by organizations such as Égalité santé en français, are not only damaging to the network’s administration but indeed to all our staff,” said Paulin

Questions surround New Brunswick’s two health networks, with overwhelmed services becoming a regular occurrence.
