The 4th Annual Marsh Creek Eco-Challenge being staged today by the Atlantic Coastal Action Programme.
ACAP’s Graeme Stewart-Robertson says the triathlon style adventure race involves running, hiking, canoeing and biking through landscapes that change from forested woodlands to urban and commercial streetscapes. He says there’s a big difference this year because there are new areas that are pollution free because of harbour cleanup.
The canoes are provided but the participants bring their own mountain and hybrid bikes.
