The City is preparing for the storm forecast on Sunday by servicing equipment and preparing a City-wide sanding and plow response.
Because we are looking at a lot of snow, motorists and pedestrians are asked to look out for one another, travel with caution, and park off-street where possible.
Off-street parking is available in the Peel Plaza Parking Garage at an overnight rate of $5, from 6pm to 8am.
You are asked to keep kids clear of snowbanks because plow operators can’t see kids that are tunneling and playing in, on and around them.
If you have a fire hydrant on or near their property, you are asked to take a few minutes to clear around them so that they remain visible in an emergency.
