As you take the time to de-Christmas your home, the City of Saint John is offering 6 locations to drop off your tree.

Those locations are the Charles Gorman arena on University Avenue, Crescent Valley between 30 and 38 Taylor Avenue, the Peter Murray Arena on the Dever Road, the Hilton Belyea arena on Lowell Street, the Forest Hills ball field on Westmorland Road and the old sugar refinery in the South/Central Peninsula.
If you can’t drop off your tree, you are asked to remove all decorations and delimb the tree and cut up the trunk and branches into manageable blocks.
They can’t be any longer than four feet and smaller than the diameter of a wrist.
You are asked to put the tree parts in your compost cart to be picked up on your next compost collection day.
