The Sea Dogs will not put forward a bid to host the Memorial Cup in Spring 2019.
President Trevor Georgie tells us a year ago the team made key moves to get to the Memorial Cup and they did that knowing it would hurt their chances of having a team ready to host in 2019.
He says when they do decide to host they want to do that with a team they think could win and make the city proud but Georgie says they don’t think they will be there in 2019.
The Q League’s holiday trading period opens this weekend.
The #SJSeaDogs have traded prospect Max-Antoine Melancon to the Shawinigan Cataractes.
