The Dogs Trade Olivier LeBlanc To Cape Breton

The Captain is heading to Nova Scotia.

The Sea Dogs have traded captain Olivier LeBlanc to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles for defenceman Jason Bell and a first-round pick in the 2015 Q League Entry Draft. Cape Breton also receive forward prospect Declan Smith in the deal.

In other moves, the Dogs acquiring left winger Bokondji Imama from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.

In exchange, the Drakkar receive a second-round pick in this year’s entry draft and a first-round pick in 2016.

The Dogs also announcing they have reassigned forward Alexander Kealey.

The Ottawa-native is due to return to his hometown to play at the midget or Jr. A level for the rest of the season.
