The First Nor’Easter Of The Season

A special weather statement has been issued about a Nor-Easter being strengthened by tropical storm Phillippe.

Strong southeasterly winds generally gusting up to 80 km/h are forecast across much of the province.

Over parts of southwestern New Brunswick and the Acadian Peninsula gusts are expected to reach 90 km/h with wind warnings including St. Stephen, northern and coastal Charlotte County as well as Grand Manan.

Rainfall amounts of 15 to 30 mm are expected across New Brunswick. Parts of Ontario and Quebec are expected to be deluged with heavy rainfall.
