Keeping up with the rapidly evolving technology is a huge challenge for the auto industry.
That word from the President and C-E-O of Honda Canada, Jerry Chenkin who was in Saint John for the official opening of the Fundy Honda dealership on Rothesay Avenue.
Chenkin says governments also want to see lower emissions. He says various forms of hybrid technology is one of the best solutions.
As for electric cars, Chenkin claims they don’t perform well in cold weather and that is something which would have to be overcome, especially in the Canadian market.
