The headline of the year is definitely Sinners. It didn’t just lead the pack; it broke the all-time record with a massive 16 nominations! To put that in perspective, the previous record was 14. It’s safe to say Ryan Coogler and his team are having a very good week.

  • One Battle After Another followed closely with 13 nods.
  • Frankenstein had a huge showing with 9 nominations.
