Christina MacLennan is considered a United Way success story.
She used the services of Second Stage and later completed the Enterprising Women program through the Community Loan Fund and now operates a nail salon out of the Social Enterprise Hub.
At the campaign launch, participants were encouraged to tweet about the good works of the United Way and it’s member agencies and how they bring hope, dignitity and resilience for the people they help.
