There Were Warnings About Lone Wolf Attacks

There are fears the lone wolf attacks we saw in Ottawa and Quebec last week which killed two soldiers will become the next wave of terrorist activity.

That fear is shared by Dr. David Charters of the Gregg Institute at U-N-B Fredericton but C-SIS and the RCMP told a Commons Committee about the possibility just a couple of weeks ago.

Dr. Charters points out ISIS had called for so called lone wolf attacks even before Parliament had decided to take part in the Middle East mission against them.

He adds the internet helps convey the terrorist message to young people who are impressionable. A report out of Australia compares the ISIS recruiters to paedophiles who groom their victims.
