A brief court appearance in Saint John for a 21-year-old man facing multiple charges after an incident in east Saint John on July 24th.
Bradley Thibodeau is accused of pointing a weapon at two people on Hickey Road and later leading police on a chase along Loch Lomond Road and Linda Court.
Several police vehicles were damaged and one officer fired a weapon. The incident blocked traffic on Loch Lomond Road for more than 5 hours.
Other charges filed against Thibodeau include possession of a prohibited weapon, assault with a weapon, operating a vehicle in a way that is dangerous to the public and evading police.
Thibodeau is due back in court on August 27th.
