Three Injured In Welsford Crash

One person suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries after a head-on crash on Highway 7 in Welsford.

Chief Dave McCready of the Welsford Fire Department said the crash happened at Exit 63 just before 4 p.m. Friday.

McCready said two other people were also taken to hospital but their injuries are believed to be minor.

He said two cars were involved in the crash, which shut down the highway for about two hours. Traffic was flowing once again by 6 p.m. Friday.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
