The rosters for the 20th annual USports East-West Bowl have been announced, and three New Brunswickers will be heading to Hamilton, Ont., to showcase their talents.
Daniel Bell and Will Russell were named to the East roster while Cody Barton was named to the West team.
The East-West Bowl is a chance for the top Canadian university football players to demonstrate their talents against one another ahead of the CFL draft.
Bell is from Saint John and spent the last season playing defensive back for Mount Allison University alongside Barton, a native of Lower Coverdale who plays wide receiver. Russell, of Quispamsis, is a defensive lineman for Acadia University.
This year’s East-West Bowl will be played at McMaster University on May 13 at 5 p.m. AT.
