Three Youth Arrested After Bathurst Schools Threat

Three youth have been arrested in Bathurst after a threat about two schools was received on social media.

Bathurst City Police say a “hold and secure” procedure was implemented at Nepisiguit High School and Place des Jeunes School this morning as the threat was being investigated.

Students from those schools were eventually sent home early.

Other schools in the Bathurst area were also placed in a “restricted access” mode.

Police have not said whether those arrested were students at the schools.
