The Jays now trail the Orioles in the A-L East by 4 games……The Yankees are five games back of the O’s after a 5-1 win over Detroit……Newly acquired pitcher Joe Kelly allowed just one run over 7 innings as the Red Sox got by St. Louis 2-1, scoring the winning run in the top of the 9th.
