In New Brunswick Senior baseball, the Moncton Fisher Cats over the Saint John Alpines 7-4 while in junior play, the Metro Mudcats blanked the Saint John Junior Alpines 3-0. In the NBA, the Los Angeles Clippers have traded Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets. In exchange, the Rockets will send Sam Dekker, Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, DeAndre Liggins, Darrun Hilliard, Montrezl Harrell, Kyle Wiltjer, a top three protected 2018 first-round pick and $661,000 to the Clippers. According to ESPM, Houston reportedly will try to acquire All Star Paul George from the Indiana Pacers.
