Hyun Soo Kim hit a pinch hit, two run homer in the ninth inning off Roberto Osuna to give the Baltimore Orioles a 3-2 win over Toronto to move within one game of the American League wildcard leading Blue Jays…..Mark Teixeira hit a game winning grand slam homer with two outs in the ninth inning and the New York Yankees staved off playoff elimination at the last possible instant with a 5-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox who clinch the A-L East with the loss by the Blue Jays……Detroit remains one game back of Baltimore in the wildcard after a rain shortened 6-3 win over Cleveland.

In the National League wildcard, the New York Mets moved 1 and a half games ahead of San Francisco with a 5-2 win over Miami….The Giants were shut out by Colorado 2-0 and the St. Louis Cardinals are one game back of San Francisco for the second wildcard, losing to Cincinnati 2-1.
