Tickets, warnings issued during Saint John car show

Saint John police say dozens of tickets and warnings were issued during a special traffic campaign over the weekend.

Police and Public Safety officers set up roadblocks throughout the city during Saturday’s Complex Union Roll Call car show.

In a news release on Tuesday, police said more than 6,000 vehicles came through various checkpoints.

Officers issued 24 tickets and 279 warnings. There were also 28 voluntary removals of window tint and stickers, and two vehicles towed.
