Saint John police called to Waterloo Street on Tuesday morning following reports of a young child wandering alone in the street.
It happened in the vicinity of the Tim Horton’s location around 8:30 a.m.
The child was described as a toddler.
When police arrived, a business owner was comforting the child who was not hurt.
The child’s mother was soon located.
