Common Councillor John MacKenzie is warning the deer population in Millidgeville is a problem for the people who live there.
He says, in a submission to his fellow councillors, that Millidgeville is one of the top two hot spots in the province at a high risk of Lyme Disease.
MacKenzie also blames the deer for car crashes as well as damage to plants and gardens. He’s hoping Council will vote for city staff to work with the province to mitigate the problem.
