Environment Canada is giving people a heads up about the possibility of some very stormy weather in parts of the province today.
A tornado warning had been issued for Oromocto and Sunbury County, Stanley, Doaktown and the Blackville Area. A severe thunderstorm was being tracked by Environment Canada that could produce a tornado with damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall.
There is a severe thunderstom watch that was in effect for Oromocto and Sunbury County, Grand Lake, Queens County as well as Stanley, Doaktown and the Blackville area has also ended.
