The Town of Quispamsis is urging water conservation, but it has nothing to do with the summer heat.
Councillor Emil Olsen says they are trying to be proactive to teach residents about not wasting such a precious resource.
“The big ones I think is washing cars or watering your laws, just use it with some discretion. we don’t want to encourage people to use water as though it was an endless supply, we’re all like I say on private wells”, says Olsen.
Councillor Olsen says they will most likely be looking at some sort of information campaign perhaps with sheets or pamphlets being made available to residents and more
“I think we’re going to encourage that and think there will probably be a public forum where we will invite people to come in and give some input”, says Olsen.
