There are currently few details about a train derailment in northwestern New Brunswick.

RCMP first tweeted about the derailment west of Edmundston around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

It said Route 120 near Riceville Road in the local service district of Saint-Hilaire was closed as a result.

There is no word on how many cars left the tracks or what product those cars may have been carrying.
