Expect some traffic delays on Sunday morning as a large transformer is moved from west Saint John to the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station.
Officials say the load will leave 550 Gault Road at around 7 a.m., travel south to Ocean Westway, and enter Highway 1 at Exit 112.
It will travel along the westbound lanes towards St. Stephen for about three kilometres, then switch to the eastbound lanes until taking Exit 86 at Point Lepreau.
Traffic heading eastbound on Highway 1 to Saint John will be detoured onto Route 795 at Lepreau and back onto the highway at Musquash.
There will be traffic delays between Saint John West and Lepreau November 25, starting at 7 am to move a large transformer to the Point Lepreau Generating Station. We apologize for any inconvenience. pic.twitter.com/FdQkuUhxjZ
